For a years she struggled against poverty and prejudices to stand on the top of the sporting world.

And she DID IT!

Thanks to Olimpian bronze winner (Athens, 2004) Flavio Canto Instituto Reacao was established to bring hope and opportunities for children like Rafaela.

Due to her potential, teachers from the Institute were quick in transforming Silva into Olympian  winner.

This year OI brought them the top of the sport world against all odds and prejudices that were the toughest Silva's life obstacles.
